Learn More About Our Team
Learn from Heroes, formerly lfh.school, provides personalized, collaborative, and technology-driven private tutoring for students with a holistic team-based teaching approach. We aim to transform global private tutoring into something more structured, professional, and affordable with a unique student-centered approach that supports and assists students, parents, and teaching establishments.
Our founder and chief executive officer, Jomy Jose Mangalath, was inspired to build Learn from Heroes with a purpose: to nurture, develop, and ensure that our students and teachers reach their full potential and become the best versions of themselves.
A Message From Our CFO
“Learn from Heroes (LfH.school), is a transformational ed-tech company that wants to benefit everyone involved: parents, students, teachers, staff, and the community, while also becoming the leading provider of affordable tutoring in the English-speaking world.
I have been an angel investor, advisor, and director of many startups and early-stage companies since I led the flotation of the patsystems on the London Stock Exchange in April 2000.
While mentoring Jomy Jose Mangalath during his time as a student at London Business School (LBS), I was so impressed by the transformative potential of Learn from Heroes (LfH.school) as a unique tutoring provider and innovative company that I not only invested in it but also became the oldest co-founder in the LBS incubator.
We aim to combine leading-edge AI tools and humans’ unique empathy and adaptability to provide genuinely tailored and transformative tutoring to all at an affordable price. To do this, we not only have to embed sophisticated AI tools into our operations and as learning support, but more importantly, we will have to create a uniquely empowering, supportive, and stimulating work environment to enable all our employees to reach their true potential and genuinely care for the impact their work has on the students of our company.
At the core of my ambitions to transform the economic framework lies the mission of Learn from Heroes (LfH.school), which aligns with my vision of “Spiritual Capitalism”—a business model that seeks to improve society and the human condition while also maintaining a competitive edge.
The next ten years will be an exciting, rewarding, as well as a challenging journey with a genuinely positive impact on society, enhancing the opportunities available to all involved with Learn from Heroes. I am privileged and excited that Jomy has asked to join this inspiring group of 50 people who are part of the creation of Learn from Heroes (LfH.school).”
